Has anybody read this one? I think it might help with monsters in the later books. I already think thatMrs. Norris is one of them listed. I forgot what its name was but it was described as a cat-like creature who had an amazing bond with its owner and could sense people making mischief. I think that describes Mrs. Norris.

no that was a cat with two tails. mrs. norris only has one. and besides, with the fact that filch is a squib, he wouldn't buy a creature that is only known to the wizarding world.

maybe Mrs. Norris is only part-whatever-it-was, so it was still enough to look like a normal cat, but have the same powers.

its a kneazle. and thats what crookshanks is part. he's not an animagus. i took this quiz at some bbc site and the answer for why crookshanks was so smart was because he was part kneazle.
